AASAI initiated and maintains an eco-friendly project Ghosala (cow farm) to support TRUST, an organization for destitute mental health patients.

TRUST (Training and Rehabilitation of Underprivileged members of Society, Trichy) is located in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India. At its Shantivanam facility TRUST provides free care for over 100 mentally disabled and destitute patients. They also receive some vocational training to enable them to live with self-respect and dignity when they recover.

AASAI Ghoshala (cow farm) has developed into a valuable facility with 13 cows, gobar gas plant and an organic fertilizer capability. Besides producing enough milk for patient consumption the cow farm provides therapeutic value and financial resources to TRUST for its core mission.
